Call for Conference Grants

As a part of the COST strategy for Early Stage Researchers (ESR), the COST Committee of Senior Officials (CSO) has introduced a support measure called “Conference Grant for Early Stage Researchers”.

The ESSEM Domain offers a supporting grant (max. 3000 Euro) for Early Stage Researchers to participate in an international conference outside of COST Action activities (COST Strategy for Early Stage Researchers, COST 212/07).

SMOS-MODE Training School 2013

The SMOS-MODE COST Action is organising the first Microwave Ocean Remote Sensing Training School. This will take place between 30th September and 4th October 2013 at the SMOS Barcelona Expert Centre in Barcelona, Spain.

4th General Meeting

The 4th General Meeting for ES1001 including Working Groups and Management Committee meetings took place in Larnaca, Cyprus on 11th and 12 October 2012.

SMOS and Aquarius Workshop

The SMOS and AQUARIUS Science Workshop was between 15 and 17th April 2013 in IFREMER in Brest France. It was being jointly organised by ESA, NASA, IFREMER, CNES and SMOS MODE
