The CALYPSO project kick-off meeting was held on the 16th and 17th May 2011 at the Lungomare Dante Alighieri CS Trapani, Italy. 

The first half-day was dedicated to the implementation of the project while the Project Steering Committee met in the afternoon. Two parallel sessions were scheduled in the morning of the second day. A group discussed the administrative and financial issues and another group went over the logistics and technologies involved.

This was the first time the partners met face to face to discuss the details of the project. Representatives from the major partners attended in full the designated sessions.
